Saturday:8:00am - Meet at Golden Spike National Historic Site
[Map]8:30am – Leave and traverse to the Newfoundland Mountains
[Map]Evening- Arrive at Newfoundland Mountains and camp at Miners Basin

Camp at Miners Basin
Monday:9amish- Break camp
Visit Hogup Pumping Station
Head home via Lakeside

Here's an idea of what to expect: It will be brutally cold, very remote and very demanding on you and your equipment. If it isn't frozen there will be quite a bit of mud and rutted roads. You can make this trip in a stock 4x4, but we would recommend that you have good mud terrain or all terrain tires.
