2011 Columbus Day "Discover Moab" trip

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made it down. Paige and I had a lot of fun. Thanks for the b day celebration on Sat. morning Brett. I'm not sure how many pics Paige took but when I get them I'll post up. I had the camera system running the whole time as well so hopefully I'll get some video up as well. It's too bad you guys couldn't do Elephant hill with us. We had almost the entire trail to ourselves and weather wise was the best day!

Well, I obviously missed a fantastic trip. I am crying in my morning Post Toasties!

I did, however, score my wife a 2001 Land Cruiser. So now I am officially in the "Hundy" Club!

You guys have some great pics to Brad/Paige(or should I call you Braige? ) ! Beef Basin pics look good! I still can't believe you had the perfect nut for that fix, it reminds me to grab a handful of random nuts and bolts and toss them into my tool box.

Thanks Devin, there are a bunch more in my flicker account. I'm surprised i had it as well, yay for random crap in the tool box!

Our campsite was just behind and below this tree....Sand Flats cluster "H"...great spot right on the Fins N Things trail.

I want to give a hearty shout out to everyone that made it down. It was an amazing trip despite being sidelined early on

Special thanks to Brad and Mike and Talon and everyone that helped me get the trail bomber off the trail and back to Salt Lake city. Remember to check the nuts on your UCA's. It was truly amazing the fix we did on the side of the trail. A christmas miracle that Brad had the bits and pieces he did in his toolbox (just the right things) and that he didn't end up on quads in the swell that weekend. The campsite we got was well above average. It was cold at night but the company was second to none. It will be a long winter while I think about next years trips.

Which nut came off? The uni-ball or the one on the long bolt? I'm going to find some torque seal and put on mine just to make it easier to see if any are getting loose.

On the long factory bolt. I may double nut it (it's long enough).
Still waiting for new bushings from Camburg (they were racing last week)
