So as some might know I work in Wyoming three weeks out of every month than I come home for a week to be with my family. I haven't forgotten about everyone in Utah its just been hard to get out lately. But I have been having fun on Wyoming trails and here is a couple pics and some info.

North Platte River in Douglas Wyoming. Great BLM trails off Esterbrook Road and some great areas for Fly Fishing. Get ready to get dirty with plenty of cow pies to hit. Go to Douglas Wyoming and follow Esterbrook road until you see the BLM fishing route to the east.

Esterbrook Road going though Medicine Bow National Forest. Some of the most spectacular high planes I've ever seen. Never ending hills and Mountains to conquer. I decided to get out and fish on of the many creeks and fell onto a mossy rock and really hammered my shin. Well worth the pain to see this part of God's country. Follow Esterbrook road 33 miles till you get to the top of Rock River Mountain. You are now in Medicine Bow National Forest. Miles upon miles of off-road trail and rivers to fish.

Poison Spider Park in Casper Wyoming. This is a 200 acre off-road park that has just about everything you could want. Rivers, waterfalls, rocks, gravel, hills and big mud puddles that will swallow your rig. The pic below was taken as they were pulling out my FJ. I had mud flowing into my rig. I had to clean out my floor cup holders because they all had mud inside them. Time for a snorkel!

Looks like a lot of awesome scenery. How far is that from the SLC valley?

That's quiet the mud hole btw.

Its a 6.5 hour drive from South Jordan Utah to Douglas Wyoming with three stops for gas. Its about 430 miles. From Douglas Wyoming its about a 30 mile drive to Medicine Bow National Forest.

If anyone ever wants to come up to this county to visit I'm working up here three weeks out of each month as a Oil and Gas Landman securing oil rights and the company I work for pays for a furnished place for me to live in. I would gladly let anyone stay here at my place for free once your up here. Douglas is a small town of about 4000 people with not allot to do but fishing and out door activities.

Some of the other area close by and within 3 hours from here is Denver aquarium, denver zoo, Denver 6 flags, Mount Rushmore and Stergis North Dakota.

Plus if your a hunter this is the area to be in.

Very pretty scenery all over Wyoming and some great 4-wheeling too!

I'm 99% sure we went to high school together, Alta 99?
