Ok FJ's let have some fun!

Meeting Location: Smiths parking lot, 1320 Redwood Road, Saratoga Springs, UT
Meeting Time: 10:30 am and will head out around 10:45ish am
CB Channel: 22

Its supposed to be suuuuuny! (ok so its supposed to snow... but whatever)

Ill let you know what she says later today, the kids have been sick so I'm hoping that I can get away and get out of dad duties for a Saturday.

I am about 70% sure I can make it too. My boy is getting his tonsils out Friday so it all depends on how that goes and how he is doing? I have done Rattlesnake once on my 4 wheeler and I have wanted to try it in my FJ ever since.

I gotta finish up my 60k mile maintenance this Saturday, if it isn't snowing (My truck won't fit into my garage so I gotta work outside ).

Please post up plenty of pictures. I should be able to make the next trip. Hopefully this monthly get together thing works out for us.

You should come Ern! I'm doing some service on mine the following weekend, you can come down and use the shop if you want.

After talking with the misses I now have the 95% go ahead to make this run. I'm so excited! If anything changes ill let you know.

You guys make me sad. I too am doing my 60k service this weekend and replacing my driver's side mirror (thanks Bob for the replacement Mirror).

It's just not in the cards for me right now. I'm jealous but I hope you all have good safe fun out there.

Thanks Brad. I'd love to use your shop and I may just call in a rain check on the offer. Unfortunately, I'm scheduled to work next weekend. I've been procrastinating this 60k service since early November. Technically, it wasn't due at the time. I guess I thought the weather was gonna be nice for ever... Now, as the odometer clicks closer to the 60,000 mark, the little obsessive compulsive bastard inside of me won't let me rest until its done. You all know your truck will explode at 60,001 miles if the maintenance reminder light is still on, right?

I'm 99% sure i'll be going but I would like to meet you guys off the main road to the trailhead if thats cool. I live in Tooele so it would be pointless for my to drive all the way out there. I've never been on this trail so i'm not exactly sure where the turnoff is on the main road. please let me know where to meet you guys. Thanks, Tieson

Tieson, I'm not exactly sure wher the trail head is either. I'm, meeting at the smith's. We'll have the cb's on and I have your # so if nothing else I can give you a call.

I'm 100% in. I'll see you all tomorrow at smiths. I don't have a cb radio, so if you need me call my cell 435-503-1240.

Sounds good Brad. I will just wait for you guys at the main 5 mile area where the ATV's go. I don't have a CB yet so If you can call or text me when you guys leave Smiths that would be great. Thanks!

This is the main trail head:

40 14.877 - 112 12.822

either my interwebz is slow, or there was a problem with google maps. Drop those cords in and you'll were the head of the trail is. This is were we'll be driving to air /down or whatever.

I'd bring a lunch as well

Ok now I know exactly where this is at. I looked it up on Google maps and the trail head road is called Sunshine canyon road. I will meet you guys at the trailhead.

FYI:
Its just a turn off into an large open space. There won't be any signs telling you its sunshine canyon rd.

Not lookin' like I am going to make this one, Doh! I was looking forward to it but just have too much to do and a sick Mini Me at home. Hope to see some good pics fellas.
