This is the current state of my FJ

So far I've added Toytec Ultimate lift, Upper Control Arms, full set of Ricochet skids, Body Mount Chop, Moto Metal wheels, Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain 295 70 17 which = about 33.5". Thule Rack with Cargo box. Also some fancy shift knobs I found on eBay. Pics of those later.

This is my second FJ. First was an 07. All I did was put different tires on it. I didn't take time to use it much. Only a couple times on the trails.



On the list to do shortly is Expedition One bumper and winch. Recovery gear. And then all the odds and ends that will probably never stop.

You people with your army green FJ's

Everyone else is afraid to post up their rides here except the green guys. hahaha

I'm sorry, but those moto metal wheels are some of my favorites so far. I'm sure I can't afford them, but I have a lug wrench and some cinder blocks....

I've been wanting a lug wrench and some cinder blocks. Do you want to trade?
Wheels are not near as expensive as people think if you do your research. I got em for $150 each. Thats only a little bit more than a set of used OEM alloys would cost. If you're getting 22" wheels its a different story. but for 16 and 17 you can get them pretty low.

Should we be renaming this the green FJ section.

Ok, I was just going for shock value. I think you win for having the two coolest FJ's award so far. A blue and then a green?! Man, you are truly one lucky FJ'er!

I really like the greens. I don't know why that color wasn't available from the get-go instead of some of the others (like black or silver...no offense to those colors as I like them also, but green seemed a no-brainer since it was common on the old FJ-40's, whereas silver and black were NOT).

Very very cool ride.

There's a really nice Green FJ rolling around Park City. Lifted (RevTek I think) ARB bumper & some side steps. The sad part is that I spoke to the owner in a parking lot and he bought it because he saw it a MM Toyota and thought it was "cool"....he has no intention of leaving the pavement. It's a really nice looking rig though.
