Hello Everyone,

My name is Robert. I am the new owner of a 2008 Black FJ Cruiser. Not too into the rock-crawling, 4X4 stuff yet, maybe in the future. My FJ will mainly be used to take me far enough from civilization to go shooting; my Jetta didn't go off road very well. I do plan on adding a few things, like nerf bars, brush guard, and extra lights.

Are there any good shops in SLC that carry a good inventory of parts for the FJ? I know I can buy most parts online, but I like to see things up close and personal before the purchase if possible.

Hey Robert, Welcome to the madness. One of the tough things is finding a shop in SLC that carries FJ stuff. We are getting together a build night soon and one of the things you could do is come to that as there are a bunch of different products that we all have on our FJs so that you can see them in person. We have also been to the Summit and have seen most of the products up close and personal so you would have a great collective knowledge.

Be careful, my obsession started innocently enough with a brush guard. Now? Well let's just say that it has gone a little beyond that.

Welcome! My FJ was my first 4X4. I got it mainly to get me to MTB trail heads, but I took it to Moab last winter and was hooked!

Glad your here Robert. We don't get too crazy into the rocks (at least I don't).

I also drive a black FJ. Right now I live in Wellsville, but we're in transition mode. The Wrench-a-thon is going to be real nice hope you can make it. (we just need to firm up a day lol)
